Friday, April 4^th from 12-2pm and 2-4pm

Friday, April 11^th from 12-2pm and 2-4pm

Friday, April 25^th from 12-2pm and 2-4pm

Where:

NYSUT Mid-Hudson Regional Office

201 Stockade Drive Kingston NY

Activity Fee:

$3 per day and covers both sessions

Payable cash only upon entrance

Snacks and water will be provided.

Friday, April 4^th

12-2pm Canasta/Spring Gnome Craft/Games and Puzzles/Knitting Circle

2-4 pm Mahjong/Spring Gnome Craft/Games and Puzzles/Knitting Circle

Friday, April 11^th

12-2pm Canasta/Seashell Jewelry Dish Craft/Games and Puzzles/Knitting Circle

2-4pm Mahjong/Quilling Craft/ Games and Puzzles/Knitting Circle

Friday April 25^th

12-2pm Canasta/Button Flower Box Craft/Games and Puzzles/Knitting Circle

2-4pm Mahjong/ Button Flower Box Craft/Games and Puzzles/Knitting Circle

Notes/Details: 

Canasta- We have cards and trays for two tables.

Mahjong- We have two Mahjong sets. Feel free to bring your own.

Games include Scrabble, Chess, Checkers, Backgammon. 

Additional card games include Uno, Phase 10, Bridge.

If there is any other game you want to play, please bring it with you.

Knitting Circles- bring your own projects and work alongside others.

Explanations of craft projects- Instructors will guide you through the process and provide materials for each of the crafts.

Spring Gnome- Simple and easy cute hanging Spring Gnome made from yarn.  You will be able to choose yarn colors and may make multiple gnomes during the session.

Seashell Jewelry Dish- You will be decoupaging patterned thin paper onto the seashell and painting the rim.  Dish can be used as a decorative dish for small items like jewelry.

Quilling- Quilling is the old fashion art of rolling small strips of paper on a hat pin to form individual flower petals.  The petals are glued together to make small flowers. (You will take these flowers home and they can be used at a later time to decorate your own craft projects, invitations, photos etc.)

Button Flower Box- Miniature decorative wooden flower box which you can paint and then fill with button flowers you create with artificial flower petals and buttons.
